The Ivan Patzaichin Museum – Community Innovation Center celebrates Ivan Patzaichin's successes and provides a framework for showcasing his passionate concern for the Danube Delta, encouraging and expressing the local culture and traditions of the Lipovan people of Mila 23, and highlighting the fragile biodiversity of the Danube Delta.
With the help of various educational projects and by providing a space for artistic and research residencies, the Museum looks to become an essential pillar in the life of the community as well as an important contributor to the evolution of the Danube Delta and the well-being of its inhabitants, thus highlighting a model on a modern institution based on principles of community collaboration.

Starting today, the Museum Ivan Patzaichin – Community Innovation Center, is open to the public. It is located in Mila 23, in the Danube Delta, the birthplace of the great Romanian canoe champion from 1967 to 1984.
The Ivan Patzaichin Museum stands out not only as a new tourist attraction in the Danube Delta but also as a remarkable example of adaptation to the local architectural style and the use of natural materials.
The Ivan Patzaichin – Mila 23 Association announces the completion and reception of the buildings hosting the Ivan Patzaichin Museum in Mila 23, Danube Delta – his birthplace.
The Ivan Patzaichin Museum – Community Innovation Center in Mila 23 is open from Wednesday to Sunday, from 12:30 until 7:00 PM. Information regarding access and visiting is available here.
