The Ivan Patzaichin Museum – Community Innovation Center in Mila 23, Danube Delta, launches the application process for the creative residency dedicated to landscape artists, visual artists, and architects from Romania and abroad. The program offers participants the opportunity to explore new artistic concepts through research sessions and collaborative creation, developing interventions that integrate harmoniously with the natural deltaic landscape and the local cultural heritage.
“The Danube Delta has a magic and a greatness that any creative mind instinctively absorbs, it “feeds on” its essence from the very first moment they are surrounded by its winding waterways, rich with thriving biodiversity. This time, we invite artists to collaborate with the nature, rather than simply portraying it, transforming their work into an exercise in harmony that inspires visitors to experience and engage with nature in a new way .”

The selection process will be conducted by a jury of experts in landscape architecture, visual arts, and sustainable design. The jury members are: Teodor Frolu – architect, Vice President of the Ivan Patzaichin – Mila 23 Association, Nicolas Triboi – landscape expert, Oláh Gyárfás – visual artist.
